Notes & Combos
Shout out to Gaoof, who's list I started from. Felt motivated to grind this month because this has been the best format since Tenpai released. I just felt like I actually had some skill expression because this deck plays so many outs to Maxx C. I like how you can play though hand traps and has built in board breaking capabilities.
Big tip going second: If you have Ash Blossom and gas in hand, let you're opponent go off unless there is an obvious choke. Ashing their Maxx C is a priority.
For those who actually care:
- 3 Oak is pretty good, but I cut it to 2 and didn't really miss it. I cut it to put in Fuwa.
- Fuwa drew me 0 cards after I added it, but it baited an ash once. Also, not really needed.
- Maxxed Millenium monsters because its your best starter as it is the most flexible and baits out stuff before fiendsmith plays.
- I don't like veiler/imperm at the moment because they don't feel like they do enough.
- I actually don't make Caesar as much without Necroquip. So while Underworld goddess came up once, I think Necroquip might be nice to beat nibiru more consistently.
- Linkuriboh isn't also strictly necessary.
- Sunlight wolf slot is also flexible. I like putting back Doomed dragon or recycling Ash blossom, but it isn't as good as when Beatrice was around. Could be knightmare phoenix for some more options.
- Paradise isn't necessary, but I liked the grindier playstyle that it offers.
