Notes & Combos

### I KNOW, I KNOW, SCYTHE. ###

Look, I hate this card as much as y'all do, but it was the end of the ranked season and I just wanted to grind to Diamond 1 as quickly as possible.

So back to the deck. Any Live☆Twin is basically full combo and ends on Spright Elf pointing towards an Evil★Twin Ki-sikil ready to reborn an Evil★Twin Lil-la from the GY which will pop your set Artifact Scythe. If you also open Spright Blue or Spright Jet you can extend your endboard with a Spright Carrot or Spright Red.

### BASIC COMBO ###

  1. Normal Summon any Live☆Twin and Special Summon its counterpart (most optimal: Lil-la into Ki-sikil Frost)
  2. Overlay both monsters into Gigantic Spright
  3. Activate Gigantic Spright to Special Summon Spright Blue from the deck
  4. Activate Spright Blue and search for Spright Jet
  5. Special Summon Spright Jet and search for Spright Starter
  6. Link Gigantic Spright and Spright Blue into Artifact Dagda
  7. Activate Spright Starter and chain Artifact Dagda to Set Artifact Scythe from your deck and Special Summon Spright Red or Spright Carrot depending on what you need
  8. Link Artifact Dagda and Spright Jet into Spright Elf
  9. Activate Spright Elf to Special Summon a Ki-sikil monster from the GY
  10. Link the Ki-sikil monster and the Spright summoned by Spright Starter into Evil★Twin Ki-sikil
  11. Activate Evil★Twin Ki-sikil to Special Summon your Lil-la monster from the GY
  12. Link Evil★Twin Ki-sikil and the Lil-la monster into Evil★Twin Lil-la
  13. Activate Evil★Twin Lil-la to Special Summon Evil★Twin Ki-sikil back to the field and draw 1
  14. Link both Evil★Twins into another Evil★Twin Ki-sikil
  15. End your turn
  16. In opponent's Main Phase activate Evil★Twin Ki-sikil to Special Summon Evil★Twin Lil-la
  17. Activate Evil★Twin Lil-la to pop your set Artifact Scythe
  18. You can also chain your Spright Elf to Special Summon back your Spright Carrot or Spright Red you got from Spright Starter for a negate + destruction since you will be tributing away your Evil★Twin Ki-sikil. This way you can reborn it with Evil★Twin Lil-la for another draw!

The Extra Deck is pretty tight for this version. The only flex spots I'd say are Downerd Magician and Sky Cavalry Centaurea. You can always go into Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder with your Gigantic Spright, but it will only have 1 pop without Downerd. You can find some arguments for Knightmare Phoenix or Knightmare Cerberus since you will sometimes be locked into Fiend Extra Deck monsters because of your Evil★Twins, but those didn't come up often for me. In the end play what you're most comfortable with and what's good against the stuff you're facing on the ladder.

### FAQ ###

--- Why play only 1 Live☆Twin Ki-sikil?

You generally want Live☆Twin Lil-la as a starter to summon Live☆Twin Ki-sikil Frost from the deck for the extra draw when your opponent adds a card to their hand.

--- Why play 1 Secret Password and 2 Live☆Twin Sunny's Snitch?

Instead of playing 3 Sunny's Snitch you play 1 Secret Password, which basically is your 3rd copy of Sunny's Snitch but also has the benefit of thinning your deck by 1 card.

--- Why play Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion over Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit?

Both are fine and perform really good against Spright and Runick. Ghost Belle just has the benefit of also being strong against Mathmechs (which are still out there somewhere, I guess...) and especially Called by the Grave, which can be a huge threat to your popped Artifact Scythe triggering in the GY.

--- Why play Spright Pixies?

Man, I just love Pixies. This is your insurance when your board consists only of Spright Elf and I:P Masquerena and your opponent tries to enter Battle Phase to run over them. That is one of the most common ways to out your board since both effects are Main Phase only and would force you to use them. Well, not anymore though. You will just activate Spright Elf, reborn Spright Blue and search for Pixies. Now your Masquerena is fine.
