Introduction to Gladiator Beasts

Introduction

Gladiator Beast is an old archetype.

Its core concept is switching monsters out after BP for another with various effects triggering upon doing so.

Its excellent resource cycle and powerful backrow led to the seat of championship winner in worlds 2008.

However, as the meta continued to accelerate, the honorable gladiators were held back by their reliance on BP, suffering in attempts to catch on.

With the introduction of pack 1207 (OCG), it acquired new powers aimed to make the whole board going first, no longer requiring Tri-Brigade engine.
